Welcome to The Climbing Place
Since January 1, 1995, when we first opened our doors to the public, our 18,000 square foot climbing surface facility is the largest indoor rock climbing center in North Carolina. It offers over 40,000 climbing holds, 60 top ropes, a massive overhang area, a 300 foot gym traverse and thousands of square feet of bouldering surface as well as a top-out boulder. And, it even has a retail store to meet all your climbing and backpacking needs.
We strive to provide everyone a safe and rewarding experience in climbing whether indoors or outdoors from the beginner to the advanced. We ensure that climbing not only produces physical rewards but also challenges the climber's skills in the areas of confidence, problem solving and perseverance necessary for a successful and meaningful life. Finally, our mission at The Climbing Place is to make climbing a fun and wholesome activity for the entire family to enjoy.

The summer is just around the corner and we are ramping up again for this year's climbing summer camps. Military families can as usual contact the Tolsen Youth Center on Ft. Bragg to get a listing of the summer camps that we will be teaching for our military families. If you are not a military family member you can always sign up for our week of organized summer camps right with us at the climbing place. The Climbing Place camp will be open to ANYONE and start July 25 until July 29th. The camps consist of Ages 6-12 from 8am-12pm and Ages 13-18 from 1pm-5pm.
